About the Courses

Basic Combustion Class; 101 (2-day course): Power Flame’s most popular class and the best class to start with. It goes over the fundamentals of combustion, safe burner start-up, and adjustment. The majority of the class consists of hands-on training in Power Flame’s training facility with several different burner and boiler packages. They also cover linkage adjustment and touch on parallel positioning.

Cmax Training; 201 (2-day course): Covers Power Flame’s Cmax burner installation, start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting. A majority of the class consists of hands-on training. Attending the Basic Combustion Class is recommended before enrolling in this course.

Director SCS Class; 202 (2-day course): Covers the complete start-up and commissioning of the Power Flame Director SCS, a fully-integrated PLC Control System, powered by Honeywell SLATE. The course curriculum includes theory, as well as hands-on training. Attending the Basic Combustion Class is recommended before enrolling in this course.
